Ada’s Story: From Pain to Comfort with Animal Deli

Ada’s Story: From Pain to Comfort with Animal Deli

Dec 10, 2024Arne Olafsson

Our Ada was just over two years old when she tore her cruciate ligament in a freak accident—she slipped on our wet sun deck. After surgery, I decided to remove her from our breeding program. Though she would have been an excellent candidate, I didn’t want to put any extra strain on her body.

Ada is a smaller Dogue de Bordeaux, but she still weighs 43 kg. Over the years, she developed arthritis in her hock due to uneven weight distribution, which led to periods of using painkillers like Previcox (except during competitions). Last year, she also started Librela injections for additional relief.

I’ve always been particular about the food I feed my dogs, avoiding kibble with questionable ingredients. That’s why I’m proud to share that Chien Courage Kennel is now an ambassador for ANIMAL DELI—the first complete range of CBD-infused (THC-free) pet food.

Ada now eats Animal Deli’s food and only shows mild stiffness in the mornings. She’s pain-free without any medication or injections. I’m not claiming this will work for every dog, but I’m grateful she no longer needs medications to feel her best.
